Curriculum

Blooming Dales` Modern School curriculum strives to create a harmonious balance between academic demands, sporting and cultural activities and community life. It challenges its pupils to be intellectually inquisitive and socially conscious. Our School believes that while what students know is important, the true measure of a student’s education is the ability to analyse what they do not know. It empowers Blooming Dales` in every aspect of personality and skill development. This helps them to grow up as all - rounded individuals, better prepared mentally, physically and emotionally to make their lives successful. To promote the individual skill the school made many arrangements like different matches with different schools (local and out-doors) .They played and won event at national level similar in the field of dance , drama and debate .

Elementary Level ( Nursery & K.G. )

Blooming Dales is an English medium co-educational institution having classes from Nur. to Senior Secondary recognized by the Govt. and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education under all India scheme. The school has different wing for nursery to flourish property. The tiny tots are treated by the trained and patient staff affectionately. It all depends upon learning by doing .They are being taught by the trained staff in play-way-methods. Many indoors and outdoors games are being enjoyed by the students. Kinder-garden students also enjoy dancing, painting, interesting stories and poems.

Junior Level ( Classes 1 - 5 )

At this stage, great emphasis is laid for Blooming Dales` to become accustomed to formal classroom learning. This is important, as children must be ready for greater and more abstract academic challenges in senior classes. Towards this end, various activities are organized such as quizzes, field excursions, project work, role-plays, pretend plays, assembly presentations and group discussions. Greater focus is also laid on formal learning of languages, Mathematics and Environmental Sciences. The trained teachers also call few students in front and provide them some act to perform as pretend play. Sometimes some character of a story provided to play, to teach some moral values. According to the festivals, the characters of our lords and heroes also played by the junior’s or senior are kids colourfully, to draw the attention of others.

Middle Level (classes 6 - 8)

Now come the challenges of adolescence. At this stage, students undergo dramatic physical and emotional changes. Simultaneously, they`re expected to fit-in well with the societal norms by becoming effective communicators and responsible individuals. To guide Maxfortians through this difficult stage, the facilitators at Blooming Dales` help them to become active thinkers and confident learners. Activities such as conferences, field trips, counselling sessions, and personality development workshops promote self-awareness and understanding. The counsellors are also being invited time to time for the counselling of the seniors, to clear their doubts. Personality development workshop as well as how to create self-awareness-programs also conducted in smart classes. The school take the students to different places for tours and excursions for a change and collect different opinion about the valuable, visited places.

Senior Level ( Classes 9 - 12 )

Today’s world is the world of competition .The young generation has to face throat cut competition. The school is aware of the competition, so it makes the student to get ready for this and sorted preparing them for the very beginning, to enable them for the competition. Many of our students qualify NEET and JEE, many more are working as officials in different fields.

At this stage, preparing for the competitive examinations takes precedence, along with active social and co-curricular participation. A detailed timetable for completion of project work and preparation for class assessments and term examinations is put into effect. Simultaneously, Blooming Dales` encouraged to identify interests and aptitudes to make informed choices about their future educational and vocational plans.

Evaluation and Assessment

The evaluation system is continuous and comprehensive. The academic year is divided into two semesters. There are two cycle tests in each subject one in each semester, surprise tests at regular intervals and First Semester Examination and Second Semester Examination.Oral and verbal check always remains in process to see the level and check the memory of each and every Individual.

Weightage is allotted for the cycle test, surprise tests and internal assessment.

Skilled and gifted children are identified and groomed with extra care so that many reach levels of excellence. At the same time we take care to follow up with children who need extra care. We provide remedial classes, learning centres for such children. There is a school counsellor to guide the children
